Origin: Its one of the oldest known meteorites, with an estimated age of around 4.56 billion years. Originated from the asteroid belt located between Mars and Jupiter. 
Composition: Iron and nickel. Its composition is further divided into three main phases:
Kamacite: This phase is rich in nickel (approximately 6-8%) 
Taenite: Taenite is another nickel-rich phase, typically containing a higher percentage of nickel (around 27-65%) 
Plessite: Plessite is a phase that forms from a mixture of kamacite and taenite.
